Baggage policy
Baggage Policy

To avoid delays and enjoy your flight, please review Aeromexico’s baggage policy below. Please note:

  • This policy is effective from January 19, 2012 and is subject to change without previous notice.
  • The same baggage policy applies for flights operated by Aeromexico Connect.

Baggage Identification
All checked baggage must be identified on the outside and inside with the passenger’s name and address. The correct labels are available, for no charge at any Aeromexico check-in counter or from your travel agent.

Recommendations for Checked Baggage

  • Do not include valuables, money, jewellery, electronic devices, photography or video equipment, vital medication, or perishable or liquid articles.
  • Fragile items are checked and transported at the passenger’s own risk.
  • Check that the airport code written on the baggage check-in ticket matches the name of your destination.
  • Many suitcases look alike. When claiming your baggage, check that the number of Baggage Claim Tags coincides with the number of pieces of baggage you checked in, and that the series of your Baggage Claim Tags is the same as that which appears on the label of each suitcase.

Aeromexico continues to offer customers the ability to check bags at no charge. Please see details below.

Promotions

  • TITANIUM, PLATINUM or SkyTeam ELITE PLUS PASSENGERS

One additional piece will be granted of the same weight and dimensions, according to the allowance set forth for the travel route.

  • Gold or Skyteam Elite Passengers
One additional piece will be granted, whose weight shall not exceed 10 kg any route and service class.

  • Buy your excess baggage in aeromexico.com or at 1(800) 2376639 and save time and money at airport.
